JOB DESCRIPTION: This is a traveling foreman position offering per diem and travel expense reimbursement. As a Foreman you will be responsible for supervising equipment operators and laborers for specific projects, including ensuring that health and safety organizational and program requirements are adhered to and that the work is performed on time and within budget.
RESPONSIBILITIES: •Ensures Health and Safety by following policies, processes, and ensuring Osha requirements are being met for contractors and the job site. •Organize crews, delegate job responsibilities, and verify that the appropriate equipment and material is available and on-site to complete the project/job on time. •Manage subcontractors and implement scheduling needs for each project. • Work with superintendent and project manager to ensure the job site has manpower, equipment, material and other resources needed for a 2-week lookout. •Communicate to make certain contractual obligations are met, including preparing and submitting project progression status reports before any additional work is performed. • Ability to complete daily and weekly reports and submit to project manager. •Accurate completion and submission of periodic work sheets for proper billing to customer •Responsible for health and safety issues on assigned projects/jobs. •Train and mentor field technicians, crews, and subcontractors. Able to provide input regarding performance evaluations for individuals to whom this position has direct supervision. •Maintain inventory of equipment and job materials. •Report work-related accidents and incidents to supervision in a timely manner. Performs other duties and tasks as assigned from time to time by management.
REQUIREMENTS: •High School diploma or equivalent required. •2+ year's related work or industry experience preferred •Valid Driver's license •Ability to travel, work weekends, and be on call

JOB DESCRIPTION: As a Drywall framer you will install panels of drywall into the frameworks of buildings. Focus on the functionality and practicality of the materials you work with to create an effective and well-protected building. Ensure the site is thoroughly examined and determine the best work route. If anything looks uneven, a drywall framer sands off the imperfections. The primary duties of the Drywall Framer/Hanger is to frame areas using metal or wood studs and install panels of drywall into the framework of buildings.
RESPONSIBILITIES: •Trims rough edges from wallboard to maintain even joints, using knife •Fits and fastens wallboard or sheetrock into specified position using hand tools, power tools or adhesive. • Measures and marks cutting lines on framing, drywall, and trim, using tape measure, straightedge or square, and marking devices. •Cuts openings into board for electrical outlets, windows, vents, or fixtures, using keyhole saw or other cutting tools. •Cuts metal or wood framing, angle and channel iron, and trim to size, using cutting tools. •Installs horizontal and vertical metal or wooden studs for attachment of wallboard on interior walls, using hand tools. •Suspends angle iron grid and channel iron from ceiling, using wire. •Lays out reference lines and points, computes position of framing and furring channels, and marks position, using chalk line. •Reads blueprints and other specifications to determine method of installation, work procedures, and material and tool requirements. •Assembles and installs metal framing and decorative trim for windows, doorways, and bents. • Removes plaster, drywall, or paneling, using crowbar and hammer. • Installs blanket insulation between studs and tacks plastic moisture barrier over insulation.
REQUIREMENTS: •Experience with hand & power tools •Familiar with blueprints/blueprint interpretation •Apprentice Carpenter - Journeyman Carpenter - Foreman Carpenter •2 years preferred carpentry experience, OSHA 10 a plus

Job is located in the San Antonio Area, however, some travel might be required.
